Why pellets
A pellet is a small, rice-sized dose of hormone placed just under the skin in a short office visit. It dissolves slowly and releases a steady amount for months. Compared with daily pills, weekly patches or creams, there is nothing to remember and no peaks and valleys through the day. For most of our hormone patients, women and men, pellets are where we start.
When injections fit better, usually for men who prefer the flexibility, we offer those too, in the office or at home once you are shown how.
Labs in the office, every time
Our St. Matthews office draws your hormone panel on site. No referral, no second location, no waiting weeks for a result you then have to interpret yourself. Our provider reads it with you, and levels are rechecked before each round so your dose always reflects current numbers. Here is the full process.
Who we see
Women in perimenopause and menopause, women after a hysterectomy, men with low testosterone, and plenty of people in their 30s and 40s whose labs are already telling a story. If you have been told everything looks normal but you do not feel normal, come let us look at the actual numbers.
Hormone therapy is a medical treatment. It is not right for everyone, and our provider will say so if your history points another way.
