Why two wavelengths matter
Skin is not one thing. Hair, brown pigment and red vessels each absorb light differently, and lighter and darker skin tones need different approaches to stay safe. The Clarity II carries a 755 nm Alexandrite and a 1064 nm Nd:YAG in one device. Our provider chooses the wavelength and the settings for your skin and your goal, instead of asking one setting to do everything.
What a visit is like
Your first visit is a free consultation. Our provider looks at the area, asks about sun exposure, medications and skin history, and tells you what to expect and how many sessions it will take. Treatments themselves are quick, often fifteen to thirty minutes. The handpiece cools the skin as it works. Afterward, mild redness or warmth for a few hours is normal, then sunscreen and your regular day.
Honest expectations
Laser hair removal gives long-term reduction, not a guarantee of zero hairs forever, and it takes a series. Rosacea is a condition the laser calms, not cures. Any spot our provider is not sure about gets referred to a dermatologist before it is treated. We would rather tell you that up front than oversell a visit.
